| Runway Closure Information While it is unusual to send notice of a local runway closure to a large audience, the Air Traffic division of the FAA has asked us to do that in this case. They feel that with all of the transient traffic that uses the Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood, Florida Airport, it is important to disseminate this information as widely as possible. If you live in Florida or are planning a trip to Florida, please review the information about the runway closure available at the following links.
